Dr. Monica Khanna

Author, academician, avid research scholar and trainer, Dr. Monica Khanna works as Associate Professor at Indira Institute of Business Management, and is a French instructor at Kenbuddy. She is also Chief Curator for Aadya’s Zone, the children’s imprint of Books33 publication house. She has around twenty five years of experience in the field of academics as well as in journalism and business. She has been a panel member and resource person for Indiannica Learning (formerly Encyclopedia Britannica) for conducting workshops for school teachers across India and is currently a resource person for Eupheus Learning. She has been conducting numerous workshops and book reading sessions for students to kindle an interest in reading and creative writing, and to develop their personalities. Moreover, she has also been curating literary festivals to introduce youngsters to the vast treasury of Indian writing waiting to be devoured. Apart from children, she has worked extensively with adults as well. Not only has she conducted workshops for parents, senior citizens, corporate houses and NGOs, but has also been conducting training workshops for teachers across the country to help them explore innovative teaching methodologies that can make learning an exciting and enjoyable experience. She has presented and published research papers at the national and international level for various journals, conferences and seminars. She has published twelve books, including scholarly books on gender studies, books on grammar and composition, books of short stories and picture books for children. She is a voracious reader and booklover herself, and believes firmly in administering a daily dose of Vitamin R (Reading) to children. She is also a columnist who contributes articles to several leading newspapers.
