Introduction to the Placement Cell
A separate Placement Centre is established with Full Time Head-Placement & Campus Relations. The Centre constantly networks with Industry and other employers to arrange on-campus student internships and placements.
The Placement Centre makes candidates corporate-ready by organizing pre-Placement Training, Soft Skills Training, Interview Skills, Mock Interviews, Personality Development, and Professional Skill Development by using both internal resources and engaging competent external resources. The Placement cell is run under Head Placement and Campus Relations manager and supported by in-house faculty.
Key features of the Placements
- The Placement Centre makes candidates corporate-ready by organizing pre-Placement Training, Soft Skills Training, Interview Skills, Mock Interviews, Personality Development, and Professional Skill Development by using both internal resources and engaging competent external resources
- In addition, every 20 students are provided with one Faculty mentor. Both, Mentors and Placement Coordinators counsel the students for their career progression and help bridge the gap between academia and industry
- Another important aspect of the Placement cell is to facilitate industry interactions among students by arranging internships, workshops, and lecture series and making them corporate-ready for placements.
- The Placement cell organizes employability tests on a yearly basis for all the eligible students who are willing to take up placements.
